Riding round Roundway

Had a great ride today with Rich. We did the full loop of my ride for September, around 35k and 550m of climbing.

I rode to and from the start and made it a total of 50k and 750m climbing. The ride for MB Swindon has a few descents and a climb right from the off. The trails were remarkably dry and the newly discovered descent was dry and not at all slippery. This meant we were able to ride it at speed with some confidence.

Other parts of the ride gave us the chance to jump a little and pic up some speed down the bomb hole and the track out and down to the road.

The weather held out, it got quite warm and by the time we got back to the Ivy Inn in Heddington a cold pint of Stowford Press felt well deserved.

More pics tomorrow…
